Common issues
- Permissions — Microphone not working, auto-paste not inserting text, accessibility permission denied.
- Hotkey issues — Shortcut not registering, conflicts with other apps, Linux/Wayland problems.
- Audio issues — No speech detected, empty transcriptions, quiet or clipped audio.
General steps
- Check your account status. Open settings and verify your subscription or beta access is active. If not, dictation will be locked.
- Try a different model. If one model gives poor results, switch to another in settings.
- Restart the app. Some permission changes require a restart to take effect.
- Check for updates. Make sure you are running the latest version of Vorn Voice.
