Device Limits
How Vorn Voice tracks devices and enforces per-account limits.
How devices are tracked
Each time you sign in on the desktop app, Vorn Voice registers the device with your account. A device is identified by a unique ID tied to your computer.
Devices are considered "active" if they have been used within the last 45 days.
Device limit
Your account has a limit of 3 active devices by default. If you try to sign in on a fourth device while three are already active, dictation will be blocked on the new device.
Revoking a device
If you hit the device limit or no longer use a device:
- Open settings in the app or go to account.vorn.sh/account.
- Find the device list.
- Click to revoke a device you no longer need.
Revoking a device frees up a slot for a new one. The revoked device will need to sign in again to regain access.
Automatic cleanup
Devices that have not been seen for more than 45 days are automatically considered inactive and do not count toward your limit.
